KEY FILES AND LINKS:
Below is the link to the Catering Checklist (it’s been updated so please review). Please make sure to look under the dinner tables for trash and the upstairs conference room too. Also, kegs and left over wine should be placed next to the kitchen doors for pickup. Please do not leave these items at the bar. Please avoid driving on the lawn to load/unload, this is never acceptable.

*Please note that you can turn on the Back dock lights by flipping on breaker 10 & 12 (they are on the same switch).

HEATING:
Click here for a video on how to run the heating at Sticks.
Sticks will set the discharge temp to 82 degrees and set the thermostat to 77 degrees for perfect event winter temps!
Please do not adjust this without calling for permission and do not set the discharge temp any higher than 85 and do not set the thermostat any higher than 80.
TRASH:
Please have staff take out food and drink related trash often. Before it gets too full or too heavy then they can tie the top of the bag and then push the trash bin on wheels directly to the large bin in the back dock and pour the trash into the large bin. This way they don't have to pull the bag out (that is so not fun).
Here's a couple key rules to keep in mind at Sticks:
The client may not be left in the building unattended and a manager who has been trained to close by me (or another manager) must lock up and close at Sticks. Never should the client have access to our keys or codes. I can provide training the week of the event you are booked for. Email here to schedule this.
I also encourage you to come in on Sunday to do a final walk-through of the space. If you wish to have a “midnight” crew or Sunday crew come in to clean up you can do that also as long as the event manager stays on-site to lockup. Let us know if you plan clean on Sunday just in case we have a rental booked on Sunday. I will walk through on Sunday afternoon to check on making sure the checklist was completed.
Please be careful when you are locking up not to trip the alarm. If the Des Moines PD shows up they will pass along the trip charge to you if it was tripped due to user error.
Please avoid driving on the lawn to load/unload, this is never acceptable.
Please let me know if you have any questions or needs!
Thanks You!
